Welcome to the Priory Counseling Office!
As the School Counselor, my responsibility is to promote the academic, personal and social development of all students. I work collaboratively with parents, teachers, administrators, the community and the students themselves to help achieve these goals. I am excited to be here at Priory, and look forward to working with everyone in our community to create an even better environment for our students.
I’m at Priory Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and I do have some availability outside of those hours. Students can request a meeting or simply stop by my office in room 134 of the High School (in the main hallway). Students can also be referred by a teacher or administrator, and parents should also feel free to contact me and request that I meet with their son.
Students may need to see the School Counselor for:
- Academic skills support
- Coping, problem-solving and decision-making concerns
- School adjustment issues
- Peer relationship and conflict resolution
- Divorce, separation and/or family changes
- Grief and loss
- Organizational skills
- Study and test-taking skills
- Community resources and referrals
Of course, there are many other reasons to reach out to me, and I welcome all inquiries. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (314) 434-3690 x136.
